Have you ever noticed God often brings things before us repeatedly to capture our attention? When it comes around the first time, we may think, Hmm, thats interesting. The second time may get a, Didnt I just see that? But the third time, well, that is the time to sit up and take notice!

Lately, what has come before me has been the word RESTORE. Restore, as in Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul and Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation Restore, as Websters defines it: To put back into existence or use; to bring back to or put back into a former or original state.
Two different applications come to mind: What does that mean for me? And, what does that mean for those around me?

For me, it means that whatever I have (in my life) that needs to be restored, God can and will restore it, no matter what it is. Whether heartbreak, sickness, sorrow, weariness from battle, loss of focus, wounds, burn-out, fatigue, hard-heartedness or, well, you fill in the blank: ___________________. We need to allow The Restorer of All to restore our needs.

And for those around us who need restoration as well? Look at Isaiah 58:11 & 12:

11 The LORD will continually guide you and satisfy you even in sun-baked places. He will strengthen your bones. You will become like a watered garden and like a spring whose water does not stop flowing.

12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the foundations of past generations. You will be called the Rebuilder of Broken Walls and the Restorer of Streets Where People Live.
We cannot give what we do not have. Get the healing and restoring you need, then lead them to the healing and restoring that is His. For this, quite honestly is our highest calling, bringing honor and glory to the Father.

Our prayer for you this month: May our Father of Rebuilding and Restoring, rebuild and restore in your heart and life, so that He can reach through you to rebuild and restore those around you, in His precious Name, amen.

May God richly bless you.

Serving together,
Joe and Jill Keenum
